Credit Repair Awareness Program

A good credit score is an important aspect of the life of every individual residing in the United States , because of the several benefits associated with having a good credit. However, studies have shown that 54% of African Americans have a bad credit score. That is a high number compared to other races. The aim of this program is to educate young black boys/ men on the importance of having a good credit score. These individuals will also be trained on how to maintain their credit score.

  • Program Structure

-The program is held once in every month for 2 days.

-Selected youths of about 10 -15 people within the ages of 18 – 28 years, will be selected monthly to participate in the Credit score awareness program.

  • Benefits

-After completion, secured credit cards will be setup for all participants

-Participants will have a good understanding of credit repair and credit score maintenance.

-Participants will understand the benefits of maintaing a good credit score.

  • Credit Score Monitoring

-All participants that participate in this program will have their credit scores monitored for at least 6 months by the Haywood Initiative, to ensure that participants are right on track.

  • Rewards

As an incentive, qualified participants will receive either cash awards or free gift items as a motivation for their commitment to the process.

  • End Goal

-The end goal of this program is to awaken a “credit score awareness” amongst the black community especially the young black men to give them the opportunity to benefit in activities that require good credit like opening a bank account, buying a house and securing loans for their businesses.

International Outreach to poor African communities

The international program is aimed at helping poor people in poor communities in Africa by providing them with food, health care, shelter and basic supplies to help promote their standard of living. Please click the link below to donate for the cause.
